Renovation of the Beckerath Organ in the Basilica
Renovation work on the Beckerath organ in Saint Joseph's Oratory basilica began August 29, 2011 and will continue until May/June 2012. The Sunday organ concerts remain at 3:30 p.m., but using the Rogers organ, located in the sanctuary area of the basilica. Thus, music lovers can still come and listen to the recitals offered by noted organists.

The Oratory magazine turns 100 this year! Discover a fascinating exhibition that will take you back to the eras and events that left their mark on this famous publication.






Guided Tour Application released for iOS!



Saint-Joseph's Oratory of Mount-Royal can boast Canada`s first mobile application dedicated to a religious shrine, thanks to Heritage Software, a young Canadian outfit dedicated to smart phone app development.

Users can access up-to-date information about various interior and exterior locations and objects of significance, as well as a map and images and the schedules for masses. The app works on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch running iOS 5 and up.

Download the application from the Apple iTunes Store. As of April 2012, the app includes three language versions: French, English and Spanish.
