The Music and Spirituality program allows groups, youth and adult alike, and of all religion and culture, to tune into the beauty of the musical and spiritual experience at hand, music being a universal language which can express the full range of human emotions.
Music and Spirituality gives each group the opportunity to share personal thoughts as well as moments of silence and musical contemplation. As participants discover unexpected places and listen to great works, they will be moved by the richness of music. No prerequisites necessary. Just be open to the music…
The activity is divided into four components :
- The Carillon (entry into the keyboard console room)
- Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal boys’ choir (visit to their school)
- The Grand Organ of the Basilica (access to the organ loft)
- Saint Brother André, Founder of the Oratory
This very special guided visit is offered only upon request to Visitor and Pilgrim Services. It is available on Wednesday (length: 5 hours) or Sunday (length 6 hours) with sufficient reservations. Group and individual reservations are accepted.
