THE MUSIC

Music occupies a special place at Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal.

Discover les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal and the musicians who play the great Beckerath organ, the Casavant organ and the carillon.

They can be heard at various religious ceremonies and at concerts held at the Oratory.

SUNDAY CONCERTS

A great tradition that continues since more than 50 years at the Oratory !

Saint Joseph’s Oratory’s titular organist Vincent Boucher leads a rich and varied musical series which also features performances by many guest artists.

CARILLON RECITALS

Many times a week, its music quietly invades the mountain, never ceasing to thrill passers-by.

The natural elements combine with the musician’s talent to shape the sound of the melodies performed.

Andrée-Anne Doane, titular carillonist at Saint Joseph’s Oratory, also offers presentations on the carillon for people of all ages who visit the Shrine.

LES PETITS CHANTEURS DU MONT-ROYAL

Talent has no age! The young artists of the Maîtrise des Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal ((Boys’ Choir) can be heard at the Oratory’s Sunday mass since 1956. The fame of this great boys choir goes far beyond our borders.

It offers a treasure of religious, historical and artistic heritage from Quebec and abroad.
