Science Fair of the Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal: A special Guest, the Canadian astronaut Marc Garneau
A notable guest came to the Science Fair put on by Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal boy choir, on Thursday, February 21, 2008 in the Pichette Room of the Oratory. The Canadian astromaut Marc Garneau spoke for almost an hour concerning his three space missions in 1984, 1006 and 2000. The students asked many questions and were captived by the detailled explanations of his space flights. As a thank you gift, the choir presented him with one of their CD's, and a surprise rendition of a Québécois Happy Birthday song for the veteran astronaut.
