Renovation of the Beckerath Organ in the Basilica
Renovation work on the Beckerath organ in Saint Joseph's Oratory basilica began August 29, 2011 and will continue until May/June 2012. The Sunday organ concerts remain at 3:30 p.m., but using the Rogers organ, located in the sanctuary area of the basilica. Thus, music lovers can still come and listen to the recitals offered by noted organists.

Open House Days

Sunday October 31, 2010

from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The carillonist at the Oratory invite you to come and see the inner workings of the carillon. Come view the player's cabin, hear a presentation (in French) and see a demonstration of how the carillon is played. These open house tours will take place at the following times: 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m.,
1 p.m., 1:30 p.m.

On October 17, 2010, the day of the canonization, there will be a grand concert of 45 minutes beginning at 2:30 p.m.. On the 31st, the concert will last 30 minutes beginning at 2:30 p.m.
