The archive office provide support for the administrative, liturgical, pastoral and promotional needs of the various departments of the Oratory. The office is pleased to consider requests from the media in keeping with its mission to promote the history and work of the Oratory. From time to time, the archivist receives inquiries from graduate students and researchers.

 

 

Examination of documents is allowed only by appointment only.

 

Storage and conservation areas are not open to researchers.

 

Documents cannot be removed from the Oratory archives except with the explicit permission of the archivist.

 

The archive office reserves the right at all times to refuse requests for documentation if, in the opinion of the archivist, the request seems unjustified or involves a short deadline. A minimal period of one week is desirable.

 

The archive office reserves the right at all times to refuse access to documents considered too fragile to handle or which contain confidential information.

 

Research fees may be requested.
