An introduction to Pastoral Services at Saint Joseph's Oratory

Every pilgrimage centre seeks to be a place of welcome and assistance. Visitors expect these objectives to be reflected in the people and activities they find there .

With this in mind, Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal offers every pilgrim or visitor the opportunity of meeting with a priest or pastoral services representative who will welcome them, listen to them and counsel them. All day long Masses are celebrated with homilies that are both crafted and delivered with care. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available to all who wish to take stock of their lives.

The staff enjoys receiving tourists and pilgrims to show them this Canadian jewel, declared a national historical monument, and to assist in their spiritual journeys. At Saint Joseph's Oratory our focus is on devotion to Saint Joseph and to his faithful friend Blessed Brother André. These two holy men are presented as models of faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and as powerful intercessors.

Saint Joseph’s Oratory is known for its publications such as The Oratory Magazine which is mailed to thousands of friends and subscribers.

If you are looking for peace of mind, visit the place that will convince you that “Peace is within.”
