Renovation of the Beckerath Organ in the Basilica
Renovation work on the Beckerath organ in Saint Joseph's Oratory basilica began August 29, 2011 and will continue until May/June 2012. The Sunday organ concerts remain at 3:30 p.m., but using the Rogers organ, located in the sanctuary area of the basilica. Thus, music lovers can still come and listen to the recitals offered by noted organists.

The Grand Associates



Joined Together for All times.
The Grand Associates of Brother André are members for life.

  • A Grand Associate is a donor whose cumulative donations total $ 2,000.
  • A Distinguished Grand Associate is a donor whose cumulative donations total $ 5,000.
  • An Eminent Grand Associate is a donor whose cumulative donations total $10,000.
The Great Associates of Brother André are members for life. To be an active member, a Grand Associate must donate a minimum of $100 over the course of each calendar year.
The Privileges of Being a Grand Associate of Brother André

The Grand Associates of Brother André receive the privileges assigned the Associates and more:

  • A membership card;
  • A subscription to The Oratory (6 issues per year);
  • A subscription to The Friend of Brother André (4 issues per year);
  • An inscription in the Golden Book on display at the Thanksgiving Chapel;
  • The medal of the Grand Associate, as well as a pin and a certificate, are awarded at the annual meeting of Grand Associates;
  • An invitation to the meeting of Grand associates on the feat of Saint Joseph, March 19. A religious ceremony is followed by a shared meal. Grand Associates can be accompanied by a guest of their choosing.
